Pearl’s Lady Pirates won the 6A Girls Basketball Championship, defeating the Terry Bulldogs 59-48! This is the first state title for the school in 25 yrs. A game their coach, Lacey Kennedy, missed.
After the second game of the year, Coach LK as her team calls her, had to leave her team and her family behind when she was deployed to Kuwait.
She left the team in the hands of the man she calls one of the greatest coaches in the state…her husband, Jason.
After the team’s win they were able to Facetime with her and share their excitement and love for her!
